The student version of Virtual Audiometer permits the student to either select from a predefined set of clincal cases or a case submitted by the instructor. The student may print or save electronically, and subsequently email, the results to the instructor.
As part of the Virtual Audiometer, masking graphs are plotted and saved. Speech audiometry is included with voice response.

Freshwater Aquatic Invertebrate Identification Guide assists in the identification of aquatic macro invertebrates of Utah to the Order, Family and Genus levels.
It will be very valuable to identify aquatic insects of all Order and Families of western North America and all Orders of the world.
It uses standard dichotomous key logic to guide to identify specimens of unknowns by presenting texts and images that direct identification choices.
It also contains a glossary of the technical terms that are used in the identification process.
The strength of this Guide is that it contains over 2,000 photographs of the animals involved and guides the student through the identification choices.
Toward Better Japanese teaches grammar, vocabulary and kanji used for the Japanese 221 class at Brigham Young University.
Athletic Trainers are allied health care professionals that receive formal instruction in a variety of areas. Within these areas it is often difficult for many students to visualize the various "hands-on" requirements associated with taping or wrapping procedures. Often, high school and undergraduate students interested in Sports Medicine are given written instructions on how to correctly perform taping or wrapping techniques. Many times these students have a difficult time learning the various procedures because they are unable to visualize and recall the correct techniques. This taping and wrapping DVD facilitates "hands-on" learning and can provide the viewer with feedback both in and out of classroom. It contains: 21 taping or wrapping techniques, a brief overview of anatomy, and how the anatomy influences the techniques. The procedures included in this DVD are basic and commonly used throughout the athletic training profession. This DVD focuses on teaching the viewer the principles behind taping and wrapping instead of providing a comprehensive list of procedures. To further facilitate learning each technique was performed using multiple camera angles with audio voice-over from two Certified Athletic Trainer's (ATC's). At the completion of this DVD, students should have a greater understanding and appreciation on how to perform different taping or wrapping procedures.

Welcome to Virtual ChemLab Organic, a set of realistic and sophisticated simulations covering organic synthesis and organic qualitative analysis. In these laboratories, students are put into a virtual environment where they are free to make the choices and decisions that they would confront in an actual laboratory setting and, in turn, experience the resulting consequences. The purpose of Virtual ChemLab is to provide a virtual laboratory where students are free to explore the various aspects of general chemistry and perform experiments in an open-ended environment. Given below are details of the two lab benches available in the Organic product.
Organic Synthesis. The general features of the synthesis simulation include the ability to select starting materials, solvents, and reagents to synthesize targeted products; build an appropriate synthesis apparatus; workup reaction mixtures and perform extractions; and use a variety of analytical tools to characterize intermediates and products. The analytical techniques available in both the synthesis and qualitative analysis benches include 1H and 13C NMR, FTIR, Mass Spectrometry (MS), and thin-layer chromatography (TLC). Products can also be purified by distillation or recrystallization. The synthesis simulation allows for over 1,000,000 possible outcomes and contains a spectra library with over 700 spectra for each available analytical technique.
Organic Qualitative Analysis. The purpose of the qualitative analysis laboratory is to help students build proficiency in determining the structure of unknown organic compounds containing a variety of functional groups. The spectroscopic and chemical tools available to the student include 1H and 13C NMR, FTIR, Mass Spectrometry (MS), thin-layer chromatography (TLC), and a set of 15 functional group tests with actual video depicting the results of the tests. The simulation contains a small set of known compounds for practice and a set of over 300 different qualitative analysis unknowns.
